What type of camera should I buy?

I'm looking to buy a good quality camera but it can't be any more than 200 dollars..that's all I have to spend..I'm starting photography..i'm new at it..I would prefer a digital camera but not one of the little ones..understand?It has to have really good zoom.

New to photography, what do I really need to start?

I'm thinking about a second career in photography, I want to go to community college and start from scratch with a class in digital photography. I also need to get a camera and money is really tight. The Nikon D40 is what I have in mind, there's a deal for the camera with 2 lenses. As a beginner, do I need both lenses? And am I taking the right path by taking a couple of classes in community college?

What's the best Digital Camera for me?

I'm looking to buy a digital camera. I'd like it to cost less than $200, but I may be able to go a little higher.
I need it to take high quality pictures, particularly of moving objects (like horses and dogs).
I would prefer that it was user friendly and easy to use, but extra stuff is fine.
I'm not looking to do professional photography, but I want a camera that takes pictures that look like professional photography.

Hello, I just got a new Macbook for Christmas that I am very excited about. However I have never used a Mac before. I'd like some recommendations on good software to use, things to know, and any other advice.

I plan on getting the MS Office suite, but I don't have ideas beyond that. I am not much into games, but I would like to get more into digital photography (so Adobe maybe? is that needed?). Thanks for your feedback!
